Come Back to The Five and Dime Jimmy Dean/ZCT’s 33rd Season
The 2012-2013 season is a very special one for the Zanesville Community Theatre. It will mark our 50th consecutive season in operation, which is an extraordinary milestone for any volunteer organization. ZCT is one of the few community-based theatres in Ohio to have achieved this kind of longevity, and it is all thanks to the enthusiasm and support we have received from you, our audiences over the years.
In 1963 a small group of local residents with an avid interest in live theatre formed the Zanesville Community Theatre. The vision of this diverse group was to provide the Zanesville area with both quality productions for the enjoyment of audiences as well as opportunities for those interested in participating in those productions – both onstage and behind the scenes.
Over the years, ZCT has nourished and encouraged the talents of many theatre practitioners who have gone on to make the theatre their professional career. We are proud to call these people our alumni.
