Auditions for "Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner" are just around the corner!
They will be held August 12th and 13th at 7:00 pm at Zanesville Community Theatre.
Calling for 5 women and 4 men, all parts are available at the time of audition and all ages are welcome!Show Synopsis:
What do you do when you have three geriatric sisters as patients and all they want to do is sit at home and talk to one another-all at the same time!?
You move another person in with them. At least that is what Doc Lomax does when he has a new nurse needing a place to live- a nurse with a secret, that is.
The hard part is convincing the sisters that they need a roomer. In no time, however, Nurse Jean has them planning parties, pulling Halloween pranks and wearing jogging suits while they race each other to the corner. When their nephew shows up with plans to sell the family home, things get complicated again.
Join us for this heartwarming piece that is loaded with wisecracks and one-liners that keep the laughter flowing.

O’Donnell's Pub at Zanesville Community Theatre is a world premiere, written by Zanesville native Christopher Brooks. The comedy opens on St. Patrick’s Day in a Seattle pub with our main character Molly Fischer at a crossroads. Her career and her relationship are both going nowhere and she has been estranged from her only living relative –her mother- for as long as she can remember. A surprise inheritance of a pub in rural Ireland comes from an uncle she never knew she had. Her decision to pick up her disastrous life and move to Ireland does not go over well with the boyfriend. She arrives to find a charming pub full of oddball characters and soon learns the real hidden charm of the pub, the massive back tax bill that is due in thirty days. Come see how Molly and her cast of Irish misfits navigate this challenge and what might be at the end of Molly’s rainbow.
