Roof Replacement Letter Dear Friend of Zanesville Community Theatre

Dear Friend of Zanesville Community Theatre:

Zanesville Community Theatre desperately needs your help. Our roof is in
the midst of its final performance and is about to come down on our
stage. We have repaired and patched countless holes, but patching is no
longer sufficient. The water is causing structural damage to the building
and the rain has fallen on actors during performances and rehearsals. As
always, we need to act, but this time - we need to act in a concerted
effort with members of the community to raise $15,000 for a new roof.

As with many artistic groups, our patrons and audiences allow us to
financially operate from show to show. However, we simply do not have the
resources needed to meet a major expense like this project. Therefore, we
are asking for your help. Any and all donations will be gratefully
accepted; however, our top 20 contributors (and all contributors over
$500.00) will be recognized on a permanent plaque in our lobby.

Please understand that this is not a standard yearly fundraising letter.
Zanesville Community Theatre is asking for additional and specific
assistance to make our building structurally safe and waterproof.

Please, help continue to support live theater in Zanesville.

Roof Replacement Improvement Project
In our 1993 - 1994 season, ZCT began a fund drive to replace the Theatre's roof. With your help, we hope to replace the roof by the fall of 1997. In addition to donations of funds received from individuals and businesses listed below, 10% of each shows' gross box office receipts is deposited to the roof escrow account.

Note: On January 7, 1998, ZCT signed a contract with Quality Construction Services (Ron Gildow and Lance Lawyer, partners) to replace the roof on Zanesville Community Theatre's performance space at 940 Findley Ave. weather permitting, work should begin shortly
