Update: Limited Air Conditioning was installed for the audience area in May 2005.

The Ticket Lobby, Restrooms, and backstage areas are still not air conditioned. We need your help to complete these projects. Use the on-line donation or mail your donation to ZCT-HVAC, PO Box 2967, Zanesville Ohio 43702-2967.

In order to finish the air conditioning project as well as be able to utilize the additional stage lights and dimmers recently donated to ZCT, we have recently developed an electrical upgrade plan. Our current service is 200 amp single phase and the upgrade plan calls for 600 amp three-phase service. We have sought a quote from AEP and an electrical general contractor and are using those figures to seek grants and private donations to offset the estimated cost of $36,500.

Won’t you help out by making a restricted donation to our Air Conditioning fund? Excess monies generated will go towards air conditioner maintenance and operating expenses. All donations will receive a tax disclosure statement . On-line donations incur  a credit card processing fee but no on-line transaction fee. With your prior authorization, your name will be listed in our Season and Show programs, Capital Improvement Project Listings, ZCT Internet web pages and other ZCT publicity and press releases.

In our 1993 - 1994 season, ZCT began a fund drive to upgrade the building's heating plant to reduce fixed operating costs and to add air conditioning so that our season could be extended year around. In addition to donations of funds received from individuals and businesses listed below, 5% of each show's gross box office receipts is deposited to the HVAC escrow account. Following are the project figures:

Thanks to your generous donations, we replaced all furnaces with high-efficiency gas-fired forced-air units in September 1996. We lowered our gas budget by over 33%. Thanks very much for your help!
