Hill House, a brooding, isolated and innately forbidding mansion located in the middle of nowhere has been cut off and isolated from the outside world for years. It has remained empty and silent shunned by all who know of its forbidding and sinister reputation. Is Hill House haunted? Without a doubt, something curious and other-worldly is going on inside it's dark, impenetrable walls. Have you ever caught something just out of the corner of your eye then when you looked it wasn't there? Or have you thought for sure that you heard something that no one else heard? Have the hairs on your arms and the back of your neck stood up for no logical reason? Have you ever woke up in the middle of the night so scared that you couldn't scream and the fear twists and turns in your guts like it's alive? And you are are cold; numbing paralyzing cold right down to your soul? Welcome to Hill House......Mrs. Dudley leaves after she sets out dinner. She doesn't stay after it begins to get dark. She leaves before the dark comes. She lives over in the town, six miles away. There wouldn't be anyone around if you need help. They couldn't even hear you, in the night. No one could. No one lives any nearer than that. No one else would come any nearer than that.....in the night......in the dark........
