Cast Bios - The Odd Couple
( In order of  their appearance )

Troy Alford ( Speed ) I’ve been a part of ZCT for several years.  I enjoy entertaining people and making them laugh.  If this is your first time seeing a ZCT show, sit back and enjoy the show.  For those of you who visit ZCT often, thank you for your support!  Be sure to laugh at the show tonight, we’ll be laughing on the inside.
Sean Rice ( Murray ) I have been a part of ZCT for five years now.  I met my wife Sarah while doing the Angel Tree Benefit two years ago.  I love community theatre and watch many productions at ZCT.  I have been an usher for many plays so if you don’t see me on stage, I may be seating you.  In my spare time, I am an avid coin collector and a full time graduate student in Teaching at Muskingum College.  I hope you enjoy the show!
Frank Reino ( Roy ) I am loving my life right now.  I got involved with ZCT in the most recent Angel Tree production.  It was a BLAST!  In fact, I loved it so much I wanted to be a part of The Odd Couple.  This show has been a wonderful experience and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we have.
James Alcock ( Vinnie ) This is my sixth play.  I enjoy doing plays.  I have met a lot of great people over the years.  I have bought a new house and I’ve been busy in it for four months.  This is my first year being on the board.  I hope you enjoy the show.
Robert Taylor ( Oscar Madison ) Robert is a Louisville born actor/playwright and was last seen here at ZCT as Raymond Futter (Mother Futter’s son) in his own Sex Without Pliers.  He was a recent finalist for Don’t Cry for me, Ike & Tina in Actors Theatre of Louisville’s nation Ten-Minute Play contest. Another of his plays performed here, Kentucky Wings won first place in the Southern Playwrights Competition for 2002 and will be produced at the Barter Theatre in Virginia.  Robert also enjoys other hobbies such as painting, creating unusual art objects and screaming at passersby from his rooftop in his underwear…LOL
Tom Porter ( Felix Ungar ) I have been involved with the local theater groups for over eight years and have been in a number of productions.  In addition to my job with The Energy Cooperative, I’m an active volunteer EMT on the National Trail VFD.  A Navy veteran and graduate from the Naval School of music, I was sent to a Navy Band in California and had the honor of playing for many stars of that era including Gov. Ronald Reagan.  Having played in the female version of the ‘The Odd Couple’ as one of the Constazuela brothers, I was thrilled to get a part in the original version.  It was an honor and pleasure to work with the directors, cast, and crew of this show.
Mollie Earich ( Gwendolyn Pigeon ) Live community theatre exists because of loyal public support.  Thank you for being a great audience for this performance of “The Odd Couple”.  I have been in the female version three times – twice as Olive (Oscar) and once as Mickey (Murray the cop). Playing the part of a “coo-coo” Pigeon sister has kept me flying high!  Enjoy the show!
Susan Barzda ( Cecily Pigeon ) I am thrilled to have a role in ZCT’s production of The Odd Couple.  I have been in several productions at ZCT – Jake’s Women, Pippin, and was the musical director for I Do, I Do.  Currently I serve as the secretary for Ohio Community Theatre Association, and am pleased with the quality of ZCT’s productions.  I have been in numerous shows at Cambridge Performing Arts Centre where I have directed several shows, been musical director, sang, danced, acted and played clarinet in the pit orchestra.
Todd King ( Director ) Well, this light-hearted comedy has certainly been a treat for me. Asked a couple of years ago to assist with directing Ramona Quimby, I consented to my lovely wife and enjoyed the experience. We followed up last year with Charlotte's Web and, once again, had a wonderful time. This experience, working with an all adult cast has been different, but no less enjoyable. I have been blessed with a cast that has become entwined with their respective characters in a way that will, for better or worse, stay with them for a long time. I wasn't certain what to expect when we assembled our entourage, as I had several members with whom I had never worked. Imagine my pleasure when I began seeing the interactions you will experience when you watch this production. I would tell you to laugh and smile as much as I have, but I don't think it would be possible. My sincerest thanks to the cast and crew.
Jillian B. VonGunten ( Stage Manager ):  Jillian is currently a freshman at Denison University majoring in Political Science and minoring in theater.  She has been involved with ZCT her entire life and after a brief hiatus from the technical aspect of theater to grace the stage, she returns to the beloved position of stage manager. Thanks for coming and enjoy the show.
