Charing Cross Road is a very different and unique play and was a very
challenging one for this director to direct. It is a love story - a love of
books, a love for writing and reading letters ad a very special love between two
people many miles apart. Yes, Helene Hanff was a real person...yes she did
write a book called "84, Charing Cross Road"...and yes, there
was a book store at 84 Charing Cross Road, London, England. With a very
talented cast and crew working as an ensemble, and using music to set the mood
and the passing of years, we tell Helene's story...and we hope to leave you with
this thought...dreams are meant to be lived.
