John
David Powell (Leonard)-John David Powell has been involved with the
Cambridge Performing Arts Centre for the last 15 years where he has played such
roles as Commander Queeg in the Caine Mutiny Court Marshal, Jud Fry in Oklahoma,
Arliss Struvie in Greater Tuna, Brian Dowd in Jerry Finnegan’s
Sister and Mr. Potter in It’s A Wonderful Life. Some of his
Directorial Credits include Grease, The Sound Of Music and
Cambridge’s Performance of Little Shop Of Horrors. Mr. Powell lives in
Cambridge with his Dog Marty.
Conni
Matz-Tolliver (Myra)- I have been involved with ZCT for about 18
years. Being involved with this production has been totally different than any
other. Not only are the directors fellow actors and friends of mine, but so is
the author! We not only have original scripts, but we have original music as
well! Instead of one play, we are performing two plays, which involves a total
set change during intermission! Two directors, two plays, two casts and two
sets!! It has been challenging, rewarding and fun. This definitely has been a
memorable experience!
Rebecca Dennis
(Eileen)- This is Rebecca Dennis' debut at the Zanesville Community
Theatre. Rebecca has starred in many high school and college plays including Guys
and Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Funny Money (Betty Johnson), and Talking
With... (Dragons). She received a theatre and music scholarship to attend
Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV where she obtained her B.A. in
Entertainment Marketing and her minors in French and Theatre. She would like to
thank her parents, Bill, family and friends for suggesting that she get back
into her favorite pastime, theatre.
Todd King (Gaynor)
- From an Evil Dentist (Little Shop of Horrors) to a "Cheesy"
embezzling boss (Angel Tree Benefit), to a convict (Kentucky Wings)...having
never played the "bad guy" I am beginning to wonder if the general
directorship of this community theater is trying to tell me something...hmmmm?
Enjoy the show(s).
