Jon Geyer (Lamar)
Jon is performing at ZCT for the first time since appearing as cousin Kevin in
Tommy in 1999. He has been involved in local community theatre for most
of his life. Currently Jon is a sophomore at Otterbein College majoring in
both public relations and speech communications. He is actively involved with
101.5 FM, The Fan And Cardinal newspaper and Sigma Delta Phi fraternity.
Doug
Shuey (Herb) I am thrilled to be a part of the great cast in this
awesome show! My last venture on stage was as Huck Finn in ZCT’s production
of Big River. I have also played the part of Prince John in The Lion
in Winter.
Gavin
Meeks (Stephen) Although I now live in Westerville, Ohio, I grew up
here in Zanesville and have done most of my acting here at ZCT. I have a
beautiful wife, Phyllis, and two wonderful children, Kaleigh 3 1/2 and Garrett
16 months old. I am dedicating my performance in this show to the memory of my
mother who passed away in December of 2002.
Rob
Cook (Judas) Rob moved from Chicago to Philo about 2 years ago. He is a
landscape designer with Timber Run Gardens. He received a MFA in theatre from
Illinois State University. He worked for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival for
a few seasons. He has done theatre all over Illinois for many years, lastly in
Chicago, with a few smaller companies.
Daniel
Shuey (Jeffrey) Daniel is
a board member here at ZCT, and had appeared in many dramas and comedies here.
He has also directed, and starred, in a movie. Right now he is a double major
of political science and communications with a minor in theatre at Muskingum
College.
Jillian B. Von Gunten (Jillian)
Jillian is a junior at Rosecrans High School. She has grown up in community
theatre. Her roles have been both backstage and in the limelight. She has worked
as stage manager, assistant director, and even follow spot operator. In recent
years, she has been active in the RHS drama club having roles ranging from an
annoying thief, to a duchess of a small duchy, and an aging mystery writer. She
feels privileged to work with such a talented group of people. Break a leg
everyone!
Angela
Meddaugh (Joanne) This is her second performance for ZCT. She was Helena
in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has been involved in several local
plays and school plays, such as The Sound Of Music and Alibis. She
is planning to go to college to major in theatre. She would like to thank God,
her family, and all her wonderful drama club friends.
Kenny Ide (Kenny)
I am a student at Muskingum College, studying history and music. I have been
involved with theatre since 6th grade doing Christmas plays with a boy and
girl’s club in Pittsburgh. I also was involved with my high school musicals
for four years. I love Godspell and when I saw that ZCT was doing it I
was ABSOLUTELY EXCITED!
Jodi Wolfe
(Gilmer) 27 years old, full Leo. She is from Zanesville, and has been
married for 6 years to Bill Wolfe, who she met in a local performance of Oliver.
She has been involved in local theatre off and on for the past 7 years and loves
it! She would like to dedicate her performance to her Grandma and Grandpa
Wagstaff for their 50th wedding anniversary.
Megan
Francis (Peggy) Megan is a 14-year-old student at Roosevelt middle
school. She has appeared in the Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the
west. She is trying out for The Music Man in February.
Patti
Kenney (Robin) Patti holds a master’s degree in speech pathology from
Kent State University and is 25 years old. She has been involved in theatre and
music since she was a child. Past plays & roles include Graziella in West
Side Story, Rose in The Secret Garden, and Nellie in South Pacific.
She also sang in the Kent State University chorale and an 8-person a capella
group called Ars Nova. She is new to Zanesville and works as a Speech
Pathologist at Genesis Healthcare Systems. It is a pleasure to be acting with
such a wonderful, talented and fun group of people!
Libbi Short
(Sonia) Libbi is a 10th grader at
Zanesville High School. She is thrilled to be making her ZCT debut. You may have
seen her in her recent role of Rosalie in West Side Story.
She has also appeared in many productions at Licking County Players, Columbus
Children’s Theatre and Zane Trace Players. Favorite roles include Nancy in Oliver
and Miss Scarlet in Clue The Musical.
She would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive.
