Cast Bios - Billy Would've Been 30 Today

Kacy Curry (Gladys Alitzer) wishes to thank Director Roger Touvell for the opportunity to play Gladys in this production. This character is unlike any I have performed in community theatre and is a welcome stretch (although some may not think so). Some people fish, some paint, some read, others nap; I act for relaxation - well, not this role. Enjoy!

Lynn L. Moyer (Alisa Alitzer) has been acting with ZCT for three years, in general, for over 20. She has been on the ZCT board of directors for two years and participates actively in various activities when she can. Her favorite pastimes are reading, singing, and renting movies. She wishes to thank her friends and especially her family for their love and continued support.

Dr. Joe Porter (Kenneth Alitzer) has a wide experience with theatre over the last 30 years. He has appeared on stage over 60 times in musicals, comedies, and dramas. He has also directed over 30 shows. His work has been mainly here at ZCT, as well as Zane Trace and Cambridge Performing Arts Centre. Most recently, he has been performing with Orpheus Players in Ft. Meyers Beach, FL. He had the leading role last Fall in Sam Shepherd's Buried Child and is now rehearsing The Subject Was Roses playing the lead made famous by Jack Lemmon.

Dr. Porter is a responder, judging regional competitions around the State of Ohio for the Ohio Community Theatre Association. He also plays trumpet in the Rich Simcox Band, Memorial Band, and the Southeastern Symphonic Winds.

Joe divides his time between homes here and in Ft. Myers, FL. He and his wife Tamara have a daughter Amy, a senior at Rosecrans High School. He is a retired Orthopedic and Hand Surgeon.
